How to Fight Data Center Developments in Your Community

Thursday, October 15
12–1 pm

Cost: Free
About the webinar

What if a data center tries to show up in your community? Learn what you can do to raise your voice and advocate against them!

Data centers are in the news every day—sometimes for how much energy and water they consume, sometimes for how much farmland they will use, and sometimes for the transformational potential of artificial intelligence. Either way, developers may be looking to build a data center in your community.

During this webinar, Nicole Sugerman, a Senior Campaign Manager at Kairos Fellowship, will discuss the process of developing a data center, identify key intervention points where you and your community can get involved, and share best practices for building the people power you need to win.

You’ll leave with the knowledge and skills needed to push back against data center development in your community!
