About the event

Learn all about transforming raw agricultural products into value-added commodities, and make and take a custom herbal tea blend home! In this session, you’ll hear a presentation from USDA-FSA County Executive Director Nina Berryman on value-added production, including resources for farm businesses, equipment needs, entrepreneurial products to support your marketing strategies, and more. You’ll also have the opportunity to join us for a dried herb make-and-take activity to jumpstart your consideration of integrating value-added products into your operation.
