Thinking about becoming a Diversified Vegetable Apprenticeship host farm? Join Pasa staff and current host farmers to learn how our program can strengthen your farm while training the next generation of growers.
In this virtual session, you’ll hear from Pasa’s Diversified Vegetable Apprenticeship Program Manager, Lindsay McKee, and Farm Education Coordinator, Madison Hugo. They’ll discuss a variety of topics, including the benefits of education-based farm work, improving employee retention, stipends and benefits, bringing skilled and passionate apprentices to your team, and more. Jennifer of New Morning Farm and Katelyn of Katydid Hill Farm will also share their experiences as current host farmers in the program. You’ll leave understanding how hosting a Pasa apprentice can benefit your farm, your community, and the future of sustainable agriculture.
Please note: Host farms are ideally small to mid-size farms in Pennsylvania and surrounding states.
